Injection

Equipment: The area of injection is divided into two sectors: one for Thermoplastics and one for Thermosettings, which have temperature and humidity control through evaporative systems in order to maintain the stability of the processing conditions.

The optimization of the layout is reflected, for instance, in a physical separation between machines and feeding systems and dehumidifying of raw materials. The injection is supported by the following equipment:

    • 56 injection machines for Thermoplastics with a clamping force between 35 ton and 400 ton, of which we highlight 2 machines dedicated to moulded-in pins, a tri-injection machine and 5 fully electric machines;

    • Clean Room - 100.000 class, where we produce components for automotive and medical fields;

    • 3 injection machines for Thermosettings with a clamping force between 120 ton and 265 ton;

Automation: The constant focus on the automation of productive processes results in high flexibility as well as high precision manufactured products and the reduction of waste.

From the automation of parts ejection and automatic placement of inserts, to the full automation of the feeding process and raw material drying, the whole process is studied in order to lead the intervention of our employees to the most important tasks, where we emphasize the quality control (self-control) as well as the application of new tools related to continuous improvement such as 5S, Lean, etc.

Process: As Celoplás pays special attention to the effective control of the entire productive process as a means of ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction, we have a specific software applied to all equipment that allows us to manage all data and parameters of processes in real time.
